Hello Friends and Neighbors,

As a lifelong Henderson resident, community is at the heart of everything I do. I’m committed to public safety, open communication, and economic growth that strengthens our neighborhoods and families while protecting quality of life.

I am a graduate of Basic High School and hold a Master’s in Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Master’s in Administration from Sierra Nevada University. I am an educator and advocate at my core, having worked in both district and charter schools here in Henderson, as well as studying high-performing schools across the country.

For the past six years, I have served as a policy director for the Children’s Advocacy Alliance. I currently serve as vice chair of Henderson’s Community Education Advisory Board and have served our community for over a decade under appointment by the last three mayors. In March 2025, I was appointed by Governor Lombardo to serve on the Nevada State Board of Education.

The role I am most proud of is being a mom to my six sons and a Nana to three wonderful grandchildren.

My top priorities include:

• Community Safety — Ensure police and firefighters have the resources they need to keep response times low and neighborhoods safe.
• Quality Education — Support teachers, expand access to strong schools, and empower parents with real choice.
• Economic Diversification — Recruit businesses that bring higher-paying jobs and invest back into our community.
• Ethical Leadership — Lead with transparency, honesty, and open communication—focused on results, not controversy.
• Well-Being — Expand access to quality medical care, addiction treatment, and mental health services.
• Strong Neighborhoods — Protect our communities from growth that threatens livability.
• Vibrant Amenities — Continue investing in parks, recreation, and community spaces that enhance daily life.
